Understanding your invoice

This article explains what each line on a SrvBot invoice means and how to download a copy for your records.

Finding your invoices

Go to Account → Billing → Invoice history. Each invoice shows the billing period, the amount charged, and a 'Download PDF' link. PDFs are formatted for expense reports and include your company name and VAT number if you've added them to your account.

What each line means

Plan: the base charge for your current plan (Site at $29/mo, or Site Pro at $79/mo). This line always reflects the plan you were on for the billing period shown.

Billing period: the dates the invoice covers. Monthly plans bill on the same date each month (the date you first subscribed). Annual plans show a 12-month period.

Proration: if you changed plans mid-cycle, you'll see a proration line. An upgrade credits you for the unused portion of the old plan and charges the new plan from the upgrade date. A downgrade credits the unused portion toward future invoices.

Tax: SrvBot collects VAT or GST where required by law. The tax line shows the rate and amount. If your business is VAT-registered, add your VAT number under Account → Billing → Tax details — it will appear on future invoices and may reverse the charge depending on your jurisdiction.

Annual plans

If you're on an annual plan, you'll see a single charge for the full year rather than monthly invoices. The effective monthly rate is lower than the monthly plan: $290/yr for Site (vs $348 billed monthly) and $790/yr for Site Pro (vs $948 billed monthly).

Missing an invoice?

Invoices are emailed to the billing contact on your account (Account → Billing → Billing contact). If you haven't received one, check your spam folder first. If it's not there, you can always download past invoices directly from the billing page.
